So today I’m participating in a Travel Tuesday prompt that asks “Who is your favorite travel partner and what is your favorite trip with that person?”
Well, I immediately knew my answer. There are so many people that I’ve had amazing traveling experiences with, and who are great to travel with. But I think if I had to choose my #1 travel buddy it would be my friend Katie.

Is Cinque Terre, the iconic cluster of 5 islands along the Italian Riviera, worth visiting? “Cinque Terre” translates to “The 5 Lands,” and consists of five small villages, which are Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, and Riomaggiore. Its a popular tourist destination AND a UNESCO World Heritage site.
And it is just THE worst. Here’s why.

So for those of you who don’t know, I’m a Graphic Designer. I graduated from LSU with a graphic design degree, and currently work in Baton Rouge in a communications firm. When I was in school, I would always seize the opportunity to mix my love of graphic design with my love of traveling. Of course, the projects assigned to us didn’t always allow that…

I read yesterday that the John Lennon Wall in Prague recently got painted over in white. The only writing left on it is “Wall Is Over!” in reference to Lennon and Ono’s peace message “War Is Over!”
It made me reminisce on my visits to the wall on both of my trips to Prague. So I decided to take a look back at that wall’s more vibrant years (literally).
