If you’re looking for immaculate, quintessential French vibes, Bordeaux is IT. And just outside of Bordeaux lies the most magical and medieval French village that looks like it was plucked straight out of Beauty and the Beast – Saint-Émilion. Easily accessible by bus, train, or rental car, Saint-Émilion is a MUST for anyone visiting Bordeaux or the general area. Most people visit Saint-Émilion as a day trip from Bordeaux. But I think there’s plenty to see, eat, drink, and do to easily fill up a 2-day itinerary.
